Cancer Wise

Cancer Wise are a registered charity offering support and information to anyone concerned about cancer.
They offer a free drop-in service in a friendly non-clinical environment. There is no appointment system, no need for a referral, just a friendly face and a comfy chair when you need it.

The Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust is the UK's leading youth charity offering 14-30 year-olds opportunities to develop confidence, learn new skills, get into work and start businesses. The Trust works with people who are unemployed or facing barriers in life.
The Prince's Trust exhibitors at The Garden Show set up their business with help from The Prince's Trust who offer financial and practical support to 18-30 year olds with a good business idea that has been refused by other lenders.

PCaSO Prostate Cancer Network

At this years Garden Show The Emsworth Afternoon Flower Club will be fundraising for the PCaSO Prostate Cancer Network - a registered charity, managed by volunteers, many of whom are Prostate Cancer patients and which offers help, support and information to those affected or concerned about Prostate Cancer. The group promotes awareness of the disease and supports those interested in improving the diagnosis, treatment, care and support of patients. The group operates a Help Line, publishes a quarterly Newsletter and organises regular meetings. Helpline: 0845 650 2555.

Ethnomedica

Ethnomedica was initiated by researchers at Kew Gardens in 1999 to research and record traditional British plant lore. It aims to preserve the wealth of knowledge about the favourites use of plants as medicines. The information gathered will be kept in archives at Chelsea Physic Garden, London and published on the internet.

TGS is supporting a charity in Sri Lanka which is working to rebuild the lives of shattered communites in the wake of the Asian tsunami in Dec 2004.

The Friends of Chichester Hospitals
(previously Friends of St Richard's Hospital)

Provides funds to supplement or enhance the resources of Chichester's National Health Hospitals. The Friends is managed and run by volunteers, operating a profitable Hospital Shop and Ward Trolley Service. Additional funds are raised by legacies and fund raising activities.

Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society

Helps people in any horticultural job, at any stage of life, with any kind of difficulty who have dedicated their lives to making the gardens everyone enjoys. Last year it supported over 800 people across the country, giving financial support, advice, practical help and, for some, a place to call home.
