Stansted House, set in 1750 acres of glorious park and woodland is a stunning venue. A prime example of Caroline revival and glorious in its parkland setting, Stansted offers visitors a highly enjoyable day out.
The house is Grade II* and is home to the Bessborough family treasures - the 18th century Brussels tapestries, the magnificent collection of bird paintings, Liotard portraits, the Duchess of Westminster's Embroidery Collection and unusual display of fans in the Blue Drawing Room. Its Below Stairs Experience continues to fascinate visitors with its glimpse of social history.
